Morning surface water temperatures are still in the mid-80s around Little River, and with so much rain the falling tide has been pretty dirty. Mullet and menhaden are showing up in really good numbers.

Morning surface water temperatures are down to about 83-84 degrees in Debordieu Creek and there is a lot of freshwater inflow. Mullet are abundant although the cooler temperatures have pushed them a bit lower in the water column and can make them harder to net.

Lake Keowee is at 97.4% of full pool and water clarity is high on the main lake, with some stain in the backs of creeks. Water temperatures are in the mid- to upper 80s everywhere south of the Highway 11 bridge, while lower 80s can be found north of the bridge.

Morning surface water temperatures around Beaufort are in the mid- to upper 80s and both bait-sized shrimp and finger mullet are abundant. In some areas the water is really dirty but in closed systems that don’t have rivers flowing in it is still pretty clean.

Lake Jocassee is up to 97.6% of full pool and the backs of rivers are downright muddy. Morning surface water temperatures on the main lake are about 82 degrees but 71-73 in the backs!

Lake Keowee is at 98.3% of full pool and water clarity is high on the main lake but there is some stain in the backs of creeks. Water temperatures basically remain in the high 80s over most of the lake, while the coolest water in the low 80s is north of the Highway 11 bridge.
