Inshore surface water temperature temperatures are down to 82 around Hilton Head but will go back up.  Bait is prolific in the rivers.

Morning surface water temperatures around Edisto Island are about 80-82 degrees. The Edisto River is back to normal levels (actually a bit low for this time of year) and the water color is normalizing.  Bait is abundant.

Morning surface water temperatures have dipped to about 79 at Little River and the water is still very dirty.

Morning surface water temperatures are in the low 80s around Charleston and the water is still dirty with all the recent freshwater inflow. Even Charleston Harbor still has a brown stain although on the incoming it’s a bit cleaner.

Santee Cooper water levels are down to 75.48 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and bouncing around 75.25 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Water temperatures are in the low 80s.

Lake Keowee is at 96.7% of full pool, running lower than normal the past week, and clarity also continues to be very high with the lack of rainfall.  With the recent hot weather water temperatures have remained steady this past week with low to mid 80s throughout the lake.

Morning surface water temperatures are around 83 degrees in Murrells Inlet and water clarity has improved.

Lake Jocassee is at 96.2% of full pool and morning surface water temperatures on the main lake are down to about 80 degrees.

Morning surface water temperatures around Beaufort are about 84-85 degrees and the water conditions are getting more normal again. Shrimp are everywhere.

Morning surface water temperatures dropped into the upper 70s in Debordieu Creek but have now rebounded into the 80s. Water conditions are slowly normalizing and bait is returning to areas it vacated after the storm.

Lake Russell water levels are around 473.6 (full pool is 475.00) and water clarity is high. Morning surface water temperatures are back to about 82-83 degrees.

Lake Wylie is at 97.1% of full pool and the lake has cleared significantly. Morning surface water temperatures are down to about 82 degrees.

Lake Hartwell water levels are down to 655.07 (full pool is 660.00) and water clarity is normal on the big water. Morning surface water temperatures are around 83 degrees.

Lake Wateree is at 96.9% of full pool and the lake is stained but no longer muddy. Morning surface water temperatures are back to around 83 degrees.

Clarks Hill water levels are down to 325.09 (full pool is 330.00) and clarity is normal. Morning surface water temperatures are about 83 degrees down the lake although up the lake with very little inflow and shallower water they can approach 90.

Lake Murray water levels are down to 356.97 (full pool is 360.00) and water clarity is normal.  Morning surface water temperatures are down to about 79 degrees.

Lake Monticello morning surface water temperatures are down to about 80 degrees, but will rise again as air temperatures do. Water levels generally fluctuate daily.

Lake Greenwood water levels are down to 438.95 (full pool is 440.0) and the lake has cleared significantly. Surface water temperatures have dropped to about 83 degrees.

Lake Keowee is at 96.6% of full pool and with little to no rain, water clarity remains very high on the lake.  In the last week a very slow, gradual drop in water temperature has been seen with most of the lake now in the mid 80s.

Morning surface water temperatures around Edisto Island are down to about 82. The water is very brown tannic and shrimp are hard to find but the mullet run has started.
