Morning surface water temperatures are around 76-78 degrees around Little River and the water clarity has improved – for now. Mullet are everywhere.

Santee Cooper water levels are down to 74.95 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and bouncing around 74.80 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Morning surface water temperatures are around 80 degrees.

Lake Monticello morning surface water temperatures are around 77 degrees. Water levels generally fluctuate daily.

Lake Russell water levels are bouncing around 474.0 (full pool is 475.00) and water clarity is fairly high, with a brownish tint, and the lake is clearly turning over. You can see it bubbling and after a few hours a boat has a layer of scum on it. Morning surface water temperatures down to about 73-74 degrees.

Lake Greenwood water levels are down to 438.49 (full pool is 440.0) and clarity is normal. Morning surface water temperatures have dropped to about 76 degrees.

Lake Wylie is at 98.2% of full pool and water clarity is still very high even after recent rains and elevated water levels. Morning surface water temperatures are around 75 degrees on the main channel.

Lake Wateree is at 97.6% of full pool and the lake has some stain. Morning surface water temperatures are down to about 75 degrees.

Lake Keowee is back to 97.6% of full pool and water clarity is extremely high. Water temperatures are now in the upper 70s to low 80s over most of the lake.

Morning surface water temperatures around Beaufort are about 76 degrees and the water is still slightly tannic. There are plenty of shrimp and mullet around in the creeks.

Lake Jocassee is down to 91.9% of full pool and water clarity is normal despite about an inch of rain in the storm earlier this week. Morning surface water temperatures on the main lake are about 77 degrees.

Morning surface water temperatures around Beaufort are in the upper 70s and water conditions are churned up with all the wind. Bait shrimp and mullet have been a little difficult to catch, perhaps because of the wind and rain.

Morning surface water temperatures around Edisto Island are about 77-78 degrees, but still 80 in the ocean. The Edisto River is very low and the water has good clarity.

Inshore surface water temperature temperatures are down to about 80 degrees around Hilton Head and the water is pretty turbid. It takes some work but finding mullet has been worth it.

Clarks Hill water levels are down to 324.55 (full pool is 330.00) and visibility is high. Surface water temperatures on the lake yesterday were down to about 77 degrees!

Lake Keowee is back up to 97.7% of full pool and clarity is normal. Water temperatures in the mid- to upper 80s can still be found but they are finally beginning to drop.
