Inshore surface water temperatures in the morning around Edisto Island are about 72 degrees, and the water in both rivers is nice and clear.

Lake Wylie is down to 97.2% of full pool and water temperatures remain stuck in the mid-60s. The water is still stained from the South Fork down.

Lake Keowee is at 97.6% of full pool. Water temperatures have actually dropped a couple of degrees with cool nights last week, and temperatures are generally in the upper 60s over most of the lake and lower 70s around the power plant.

Santee Cooper water levels are at 75.79 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and 74.75 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Water temperatures are in the upper 60s. The upper lake is muddy while the lower lake is just colored.

Lake Hartwell water levels are up to 661.61 (full pool is 660.00) and morning surface water temperatures remain in the upper 60s. Overall water clarity is very good.

Clarks Hill water levels are still above full at 330.40 (full pool is 330.00), and morning surface temperatures range from 68-70 degrees. Up the lake the water is dirty but cleaner that it was, while down the lake it is fairly clear. The water is stained because of high winds, not rain.

Lake Murray water levels are at 358.03 (full pool is 360.00) and visibility is stained mid-lake and clearing down the lake. Morning surface temperatures remains in the upper 60s.
Water temperatures have continued to hold steady or even drop, and as a result Lake Murray bass fishing patterns have not changed very much. The fish have, however, been a little finicky. Veteran tournament angler Captain Doug Lown reports

Lake Keowee is at 98.4% of full pool. Water temperatures have now reached into the 70s throughout the lake with the warmest water around the power plant at 74 degrees.

Surface temperatures on the north end of the Grand Strand are in the upper 60s. The Cherry Grove area is very clear because of the lack of river inflow, while Little River is darker because of the freshwater.

Lake Russell water levels are at 473.85 (full pool is 475.00) and water temperatures are around 67 degrees. The lake is fairly clear although there is some dingy water in the backs.

Water temperatures are about 72 degrees around Hilton Head. There is a lot of darker fresh water around the Broad River Bridge but closer to the ocean the water is nice and green.

Water temperatures are up-and-down in Murrells Inlet, but generally just under 70 degrees.
Baisch Boys Bait and Tackle (843-651-1915) has regular and jumbo mud minnows, live finger mullet, live fiddler crabs, fresh shrimp, salt clam, and a full range of frozen baits. Within 2-3 weeks they should have live shrimp again.
Inshore fishing in Murrells Inlet has been pretty good, and Captain J Baisch (843-902-0356) reports
