Lake Keowee is at 98.6% of full pool. Water temperatures continue to rise quickly on the lake with low 70s present in most sections. The coolest water is near the Jocassee dam where the temperature is in the low 60s. Clarity is normal.
The bass fishing remains good on Lake Keowee this week, and N&C Marine/Skeeter Team member Guide Charles Townson (864-324-2065) reports

Inshore surface water temperatures around Little River are just now hitting 70 but got there slower than usual this year.
Inshore fishing remains strong on the north end of the South Carolina Grand Strand, and Captain Patrick “Smiley” Kelly (843-361-7445) reports

Inshore surface water temperatures around Edisto Island are about 68-69 degrees while the creeks can hit the mid-70s on sunny afternoons. Water clarity is good in both rivers.
A strong topwater bite has developed in the mornings for both trout and redfish, and Captain Ron Davis, Jr. (843-513-0143) reports

Lake Monticello surface water temperatures are in the upper 60s and lake is clear. Water levels fluctuate daily.
The bass spawn is basically in the rear-view mirror on Lake Monticello, but instead of the fish being in a post-spawn funk tournament angler Andy Wicker of Pomaria reports

Lake Russell water levels are above full at 475.03 (full pool is 475.00) and the lake is very clear except for some floating debris and pollen. Water temperatures are in the upper 60s.

It’s almost getting to be a joke how low the bass fishing weights are on Lake Wylie, and tournament angler Reid McGinn of Fort Mill reports

Santee Cooper water levels are at 75.42 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and bouncing around 75.18 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Both lakes are relatively clear and water temperatures are around 69 degrees.
The Santee Cooper bass are in a little bit of a post-spawn lull right now, and Captain Brett Mitchell (803-379-7029) reports

Lake Hartwell water levels are still well over full pool at 661.11 (full pool is 660.00). Water temperatures are in the mid to upper 60s at daylight and the lake remains very clear.
It’s a strange time for bass fishing on Lake Hartwell, and Guide Brad Fowler reports

Clarks Hill water levels are still above full at 330.61 (full pool is 330.00) and morning surface water temperatures are in the upper 60s.
The cold snap earlier in the week slowed down the bass schooling on herring for a few days, but tournament angler Josh Rockefeller of Augusta reports

Lake Jocassee is at 98.2% of full pool and surface water temperatures are up to about 62 degrees on the main lake but approaching the upper 60s in the creeks.

Lake Greenwood water levels are at 439.06 (full pool is 440.0) and water temperatures are around 68 degrees. The very upper end and lower end of the lake are clear, while the middle section is dingy but not muddy.
While we are probably in the overall middle of the bass spawn on Lake Greenwood right now, from what tournament angler Stan Gunter of Saluda has seen this week

Morning surface water temperatures are about 68 degrees inshore around Hilton Head and the water is still nice and clean.
While today was a little slow, overall the inshore fishing has been pretty good around Hilton Head. Captain Kai Williams (843-816-7475) reports

After a spring where water levels were extremely high it’s ironic that low water levels are throwing a bit of a wrench into the Wateree bass fishing, but that is exactly what tournament angler Dearal Rodgers of Camden reports

Santee Cooper water levels are at 75.72 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and bouncing around 74.9 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). The upper lake is clearing but still stained while there is a mud line in the lower lake. Water temperatures are generally in the upper 60s.
