Lake Hartwell water levels are at 659.01 (full pool is 660.00) and the lake is much clearer than last week. Morning surface water temperatures are back up to around 49-51 degrees.

Morning surface water temperatures are hovering around 51 degrees at the mouth of Winyah Bay.

Morning surface water temperatures are around 52 at the mouth of Murrells Inlet and the water is still clear. However, the stringy grass is starting to break loose earlier than usual and providing an irritant for anglers.

Morning surface water temperatures are now about 53 degrees in Charleston Harbor and the water is still very clear.

Morning surface water temperatures are about 52-53 on the 99 end, while they are as warm as 64 close to the power plant. The upper end of the lake is slightly stained while the lower end is heavily stained. Water levels typically fluctuate frequently.

Clarks Hill water levels are up to 329.81 (full pool is 330.00) and the creeks are muddy to stained while the lower lake is fairly clear, although there is some trash floating.  Morning surface water temperatures range from about 47 to 50 degrees.

Lake Hartwell water levels are at 659.13 (full pool is 660.00) and much of the lake is just lightly stained, while some of the creeks that get dirty easily are muddy. Morning surface water temperatures are about 49 but expected to drop with this new front.

Lake Murray water levels are up to 357.90 (full pool is 360.00) and up the lake is muddy but just beginning to clear, with the mud-line around Buffalo Creek. Morning surface water temperatures are around 50 degrees.

Lake Greenwood water levels are at 436.57 (full pool is 440.0) and the upper end is muddy while the mid- to lower lake gets progressively clearer as you go down.   However, they are pulling water so hard the whole lake could soon be muddy.  Morning surface water temperatures are about 48-49 degrees and dropping.

Lake Wylie is at 98.2% of full pool and morning surface water temperatures on the main channel range from 45-46 degrees while in the creeks they range from about 48-50.  About 75% of the lake is red muddy and the rest is at least stained.

Santee Cooper water levels are up to 75.34 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and have dropped to 73.82 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Morning surface water temperatures are around 53 degrees, and muddy water is now making its way to the lower lake while the upper lake is already very dirty.

Lake Jocassee is at 97.7% of full pool and water conditions are normal with some minor stain in the very backs of creeks. Morning surface water temperatures on the main lake are around 52 degrees.

Lake Russell water levels about full at 475.18 (full pool is 475.00) and the lake is dingy in areas that are usually clear and there are some logs floating in the middle. Morning surface water temperatures range from about 51-52 degrees.

Lake Wateree is at 97.8% of full pool and the lake is now muddy and trashy from one end to the other.  Morning surface water temperatures are about 48 on the main lake and as high as 50 in the backs.

Lake Keowee is at 98.8% of full pool and water clarity is normal on the main lake but stained to muddy in the back of the major creeks due to recent rainfall.  Morning surface water temperatures are in the mid- to upper 50s over most of the lake, with the warmest water at 60 degrees near the power plant.

Morning surface water temperatures at the mouths of the main rivers are 50 degrees and both the North and South Edisto are clear.

Santee Cooper water levels are at 74.65 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and 74.52 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Morning surface water temperatures are around 50 degrees, and the water is still very clear for Santee.
