Lake Russell water levels are still very high but down to 475.66 (full pool is 475.00), and the water remains a little colored on the upper end and the backs of some creeks – but it’s clear again on the main channel. Morning surface water temperatures range from the low to mid-50s.

Lake Murray water levels are at 357.97 (full pool is 360.00) and water clarity varies from muddy to clear. Morning surface water temperatures are in the mid- to upper 50s.

Lake Wylie is at 97.8% of full pool and water conditions range from muddy to dingy. Morning surface water temperatures are about 61-63 degrees.

Lake Keowee is at 97.7% of full pool and water clarity is normalizing. Morning surface water temperatures are now in the low-60s over most of the lake with mid-60s around the power plant.

It’s murky on the upper end and the backs of major creeks are muddy, while the front of creeks and the mid-lake down on the main lake are fairly clear. Morning surface water temperatures have dropped to about 55 degrees on the lower end.

Lake Greenwood water levels are at 437.42 (full pool is 440.0) and most of the lake is muddy although the lower end isn’t too bad. Morning surface water temperatures are in the mid- to upper 50s.

Santee Cooper water levels are at 76.11 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and 74.40 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Marion changes color every day and by area but is generally at least stained, while Moultrie has far more color than usual. Morning surface water temperatures are generally in the mid-60s.

After spiking to almost 662.5 Lake Hartwell water levels are still very high but back down to 661.55 (full pool is 660.00) and water clarity varies. Surface water temperatures were about 55-56 this morning.

Morning surface water temperatures on the beach just off Edisto Island are approximately 60 degrees, and there is an incredible amount of freshwater coming into the system. Between that and very high tides inshore waters are usually dirty and at best tannic.

Lake Keowee is at 98.5% of full pool and water clarity remains high on the main lake with stain in the backs of creeks – but heavy rains predicted over the weekend will like muddy the backs of major creeks. Morning surface water temperatures are now in the low-60s over most of the lake.

Santee Cooper water levels are at 76.23 in Lake Marion (full pool is 76.8) and 74.58 in Lake Moultrie (full pool is 75.5). Most of the lake is muddy. Water temperatures have risen several more degrees and afternoon temperatures in the mid- to high-60s are now common.

Lake Monticello morning surface water temperatures range from about 56-62 degrees. The 99 end is clear but the lower end is dirty. Water levels generally fluctuate daily.

Lake Murray water levels have jumped up to 358.27 (full pool is 360.00) and after yesterday most of the lake is getting dirty. The Little Saluda is cleaner than the Big Saluda, and creeks from one end of the lake to the other are muddy in the backs. Morning surface water temperatures were 58 on the upper end this morning.

Lake Russell water levels are at 474.83 (full pool is 475.00) and – as of yesterday afternoon – the lake had cleared significantly. But with the rain that may have already changed. Morning surface water temperatures were as high as 60 degrees, but after the rain plummeted to the mid-50s.
