There were two major tournaments on Lake Keowee this weekend, and on Saturday the BFL Savannah River Division had its first event of the season. 114 boaters fished, with winning results as follows:
1) Emil Wagner with 18-00
2) Jason Burroughs with 15-01 (four fish, including the big bass at 5-13 )
3) Joe Eubanks with 13-12
On the co-angler side, Caleb Warrington won with 10-02.

The other major tournament was the Skeeter Bass Challenge tournament Sunday on Keowee, also the trail's first event of the season. 119 teams fished, with winners as follows:
1) Joe Anders and Matt Guffey with 17.98
2) A. Prince and T. Prince with 17.33
3) E. Wortham and P. Driskell with 17.03.
The top teams all had a five plus pound fish, with the tournament big bass caught by the Team Prince at 6.01 pounds.
