Whether you are hunting for striped bass, largemouth bass, big blue catfish or even flatheads, the shallow waters of Clarks Hill are the place to look right now. Blueback herring are up there spawning and providing a food source that draws in all manner of predators, those same predators are also at some stage of the spawn further drawing them into the shallows, and water temperatures are in a sweet spot where everything is comfortable in just a few feet of water - including other forage fish. For those who love shallow fishing, now is the time and Clarks Hill is the place to be!
