The blue catfish are in a feeding frenzy right now on Clarks Hill, and young Hudson Gawler was very excited to catch this big fish with Captain Chris Simpson of Fightin Da Blues Fishing Guide Service (864-992-2352).  Captain Chris reports that the blue cat was so full of mussels that it was about to bust, but it was still greedy enough to take a piece of cut gizzard shad.  The hottest bite is around mussel beds right now, which you can often identify by looking for raised areas on humps or points.
