Clarks Hill water levels are down to 329.81 (full pool is 330.00) and there is a little stain to the water as the lake is near the turnover. Morning surface water temperatures are about 67-68 degrees.

After reaching several feet above full Clarks Hill water levels are down to “only” 330.57 (full pool is 330.00), and even though there is still a lot of floating debris the lake is settling out. Morning surface water temperatures are about 74-75 degrees.

Clarks Hill water levels are well above full at 331.06 (full pool is 330.00) and morning surface water temperatures are in the 60-degree range on the main lake. The lake was fairly clear before the last round of rain this week, but it is again stained and there is still lots of yellow pollen on the water.

Last weekend's featured CATT tournament on Lake Monticello was won with 19.25 pounds, and our regular Monticello correspondent Andy Wicker was remarkably close in hisprediction of 19 lbs 5 oz.  There's no doubt he knows the lake!  However, Robbie Boyd was also very close with his guess of 19.35 pounds, and since he used the correct digital format with hundredths of a pounds we are splitting the prize money between them.  Don'tfeel too sorry for Andy - he's already got a boatload of tackle and he'll be fine.

Out on the water earlier today fishing the Big Bass Tour, tournament angler Tyler Matthews of Evans, GA managed to score a 5.82 pound big fish worth a healthy check in one of the hourly weigh-ins. This follows a good weekend last week where Tyler placed 11th out of about 150 boats in the Top 6 tournament.
