Last weekend's featured Palmetto Boat Center Tournament on Lake Murray was won by Justin Tingen and Jonathan Carter with an impressive 27.52 pound bag including a 7.30 pound big fish, but also impressive was reader Anthony Iocolano's guess - sack weight 27.62 and big fish 7.06 pounds. He was the winner of last week's $40.00 gift certificate to Angler's Headquarters.
This weekend also has a full line-up of tournaments, including multiple ABA events, a couple of CATTs, a Fishers of Men event, a B.A.S.S. Nation event, and the Strike King Big Bass Challenge on Murray, of course all topped off with the Sunday Showdown Series tournament on Santee. But the biggest chance for an eye-popping 5-fish bag probably comes in the Carolinas Bass Challenge Marshall's Marine Division Tournament on the Santee Cooper lakes this weekend. Conditions are prime to see some monster females brought to the scales, and so we are making this week only a double event. Closest guess to the winning weight in the comments here wins an $80.00 gift certificate to Angler's Headquarters (tie breaker, tournament big fish). Please use hundredths of a pound instead of ounces. Bonus: guess the winning bag and the tournament big fish weight and win a $1,000.00 gift certificate to the store. Deadline is 7:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13.
