Another Thursday Night in the books and wow at the fish that was brought to the scales. The weather had a big effect on our crowd but the crowd that we had caught the fish. Hopefully this is a sign that Lake Wylie has cycled through the tough fishing years and is on the upswing. The fish I see coming to the scales are healthy and look really good. The information that I am getting is the fish are shallow and most fisherman are using jigs and plastics around boat docks.
Congratulations to the team of Mark Leech and Tim Chapman with the win. They brought in a solid sack of five bass weighing in at 18.82 lbs. Second place went to the team of Mike Stone and Joe Floyd with a weight of 17.51.
